Help FAQ Mortgage FAQ

21. Do I have to pay for legal fees?

Yes, if you are buying a property.

For remortgages, we will pay our conveyancers' legal costs. If you want any legal advice in connection with the remortgage, you will have to pay for this.

Please note that if you repay a remortgage within two years, you must pay us a sum towards the valuation contribution and the remortgage legal fees. You can refer to Interest Rates and Charges for details of the current fee.
