Standing orders

A standing order is a regular payment made from your current account jar into another account, whether it is yours or someone else's. You control the amount, the date and the frequency of these payments. An example of this would be the monthly transfer of money to a child living away at university. If the payment date you have chosen falls on a non-banking day, the money will leave your jar on the next banking day.
